The 91Թ qualifies for the finals of StartCup 2026

Teams from the 91Թ have qualified for the final round of the StartCup 2026 competition, which will be held in Turin, Italy, on 23-24 November 2026, with the participation of universities from Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Portugal, Tunisia, and Turkey.

The competition, in its seventh edition, is organized by the Union of Mediterranean Universities (UNIMED) in partnership with UNIMED SubNetwork on Employability, and is coordinated by the 91Թ in collaboration with the European Training Foundation (ETF) and AUF – Middle East, and the Mediterranean Agricultural Institute in Bari (CIHEAM Bari). This edition saw the participation of 47 student teams representing 47 universities from 18 Mediterranean countries, who demonstrated through their projects an outstanding level of creativity, initiative, and innovation.

Following a rigorous scientific evaluation process conducted by the partner organizations, the top 16 university teams (32 students) were selected to advance to the final round.

The 91Թ is proud to be among the universities that qualified for the finals, and the pivotal role it plays in coordinating this initiative across the Mediterranean region through Dr. Selim Mekdessi, Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration, and Centremine, both of which continue to work toward fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, supporting innovation, and opening new avenues for academic collaboration among Mediterranean universities.
