Exceptional Year 鈥� Workshop at the Faculty of Science Empowering High School Students

The Faculty of Science 鈥� Branch 1 organized a three-day workshop aimed at guiding and strengthening new students in the faculty鈥檚 majors, particularly in mathematics.
The faculty's initiative to hold this workshop stemmed from the circumstances students faced as a result of the war, and it focused on the issue of choosing a major based on scientific principles and equal opportunity.
Dr. Mouenes Fadlallah, Director of the Faculty of Science - Branch 1, noted that the workshop was organized under the guidance of the University Presidency and the Deanship, given the importance of mathematics in all the faculty鈥檚 fields of study and considering that this year has been a difficult one for students in high schools and universities.
Over the course of three days, more than 1,200 students were divided into several classes that allowed them to review fundamental concepts and lessons that had been difficult to master naturally during an exceptional academic year.
In short, this workshop was not merely a review of past lessons; rather, it sent a message to students that difficult circumstances should not stand in the way of their right to education and personal development.
