Training on Simulators at the Faculty of Medical Sciences
The Faculty of Medical Sciences organized a series of training sessions on simulators for fifth-year students鈥攖he first such initiative in its history.

Approximately 160 students鈥攚ho are about to begin their clinical rotations in hospitals鈥攑articipated in the training and worked on three simulators:
- HAL Advanced Simulator S3201
- Pediatric HAL Simulator S2225
- Victoria OBGYN Simulator S2200

These devices are among the most advanced and important simulators in Lebanon and best replicate the reality of symptoms and medical issues in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. It is worth noting that the pediatric simulator (Pediatric HAL S2225) is the most advanced of its kind, and the Faculty of Medical Sciences is among the first universities in the Middle East and the Arab world to acquire one.

The training was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Antoine Abou Rached, Chair of the Academic Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Hassan Salame, Chair of the Program Evaluation Committee. A team of resident physicians from various specializations (emergency medicine, internal medicine, and general surgery) was formed under the supervision and coordination of Dr. Amjad Makhour, including: Dr. Perla Haddad, Dr. Maya Dagher, Dr. Nour Matar, Dr. Iman Younis, Dr. Mahdi Braiteh, Dr. Abbas Rachid, Dr. Imad Semaan, and Dr. Mohamed Kabbar.
A team of volunteer medical students assisted with the training, including: Adel Ayash, Mohamad Al Maghribi, Jana El Zein, Motasim Alsayed, Andre Chemaly, Joseph Saab, and Hadi Khazem.
