The community is invited to attend the premiere event of the 12^thÌýyear ofÌýVerse Like Water: The visiting poet program of Central Lakes College, happening at noon on Sept. 27 in the Chalberg Theatre, Brainerd campus. The event is free and openÌýtoÌýthe public.

Featured will be poetsÌýValzhyna Mort (Belarus), Ilya Kaminsky (Odessa Ukraine), and Nikola Madzirov (Macedonia). Audience members willÌýhear what these poets from Eastern Europe have to say about a troubled, war-torn part of the world through reading and conversation. A book signing and craft talk will follow.
