Flexible Learning Options at Central Lakes College (91勛圖厙)
91勛圖厙 has course delivery methods that include face-to-face and virtual options for greater flexibility for students. Virtual options may use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other technologies. To access online and virtual courses, students should have regular access to a computer, webcam, and a reliable internet connection.泭

Generally, students should expect to spend three hours per week per credit. For instance, if a student has a one credit course, the student should expect to spend three hours per week on the course. If a student has a three credit course, the student should expect to spend nine hours per week on the course.
Course Delivery Methods:
In-Person:泭All course meetings are on-campus.
Online Synchronous:泭The instructor will teach live virtually. All instruction is delivered online with required, real-time (synchronous) meeting days/times that are listed in the schedule. Students attend virtually.
Online Asynchronous:泭All instruction is delivered online with no required scheduled meetings or attendance.泭 Students complete coursework by泭accessing instructional materials online.

Mostly Online:泭Instruction is delivered online (asynchronous), with up to two possible in-person meetings and up to four required proctored exams.泭泭
Management Programs:泭Management Programs are where instruction is delivered to owners/operators/managers of farm and small business in the form of management credits. Students use their business entities as a base for case study and receive instruction that applies to business and financial principles. Instruction is primarily delivered in an individualized format at the students business but is supplemented by appropriate group, classroom, or distance instruction. Specific programs include: Farm Business Management, Sparsity Farm Business Management, Small Business Management, Computerizing Small Business, Lamb & Wool Management and Specialty Crop Management.
Management Credit:泭Management Credits recognize the direct application of instruction by the student at the business on a continuous basis and give the student credit for those applications and experiences. The management credit equates to 48 hours of total student effort under the semester system, which includes 4 hours of formal instruction and 44 hours of student application.
