Step 1: Complete our free application and submit supporting documents
Students can apply directly on the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Admissions website. (Be sure to save your StarID and Password where you can find it. You’ll need those later to access your student email account and other campus information.) Once you have submitted your application, watch for an email informing you of your acceptance status.
Submit supporting documents if applicable. Please submit high school transcripts and any other college/military transcripts. Official transcripts can be accepted via online delivery systems or be mailed or emailed from institutions. High school transcripts can be emailed to admissions@clcmn.edu and college transcripts can be emailed to transfer@clcmn.edu. are required for any student who did NOT graduate from a MN state high school since 1997.
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at . Apply early to ensure financial aid is complete prior to the beginning of the semester. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø’s FAFSA code is: 002339.
After completing the FAFSA, apply for scholarships on the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Foundation website. If you are eligible for Veteran benefits, contact the Veteran Resource Center.
Step 3 Establish your correct course placement
To provide students with the best opportunity for success, some 91³Ô¹ÏÍø courses and programs require reading and/or math skills prior to registering for classes. If course placement is a requirement for the program you are studying, please visit the Course Placement & Testing webpage for more information about determining your correct course placement.
Step 4: Register for Courses
Central Lakes College hosts New Student Registration Sessions prior to each semester. At these sessions, you’ll register for your classes, and receive helpful information about Financial Aid, grants and scholarships, bills and payments, 91³Ô¹ÏÍø email and the academic portal (D2L).
